FALL 2015 ACTING PROGRAM
This twice-weekly course is geared for professional young actors who are currently working at a career in Hollywood – enrollment will be based upon application and audition submissions.
Full 3-Month Session Runs September 19th – December 16th, 2015
Wednesdays, 4:00pm – 7:00pm (instruction/exercises)
Saturdays, 10:00am – 1:00pm (scene study/camera work)
Full Session – $975 for 3 months/2 classes per week
Partial Session – $350/4-Weeks (2 classes/wk) or $200/4-Weeks (1 class/wk)
Scholarships* and other pricing packages available too – payable in installments.
Course teachers Casting Director/Producer MICHAEL SONNTAG and OLIVER KIERAN-JONES (“Glee”, “Pretty Little Liars”, “Episodes”) will lead the class through a mixture of lecture, discussion, exercises, and one-on-one instruction. Three-month program includes:
•Advanced Acting Techniques – Applying The Craft Of Acting, Suited To Young Actors
•Archetypes For Kids – How The Young Actor Uses Character Work in Performances
•Working In Front Of A Camera – Using The Camera For Maximum Effectiveness
•Commercial Acting – Understanding How To Approach This Specific Type Of Performance
•Weekly Instruction – Wednesdays Will Cover Acting Theory/Preparation/Scene Breakdown
•Weekly Scene Study – Saturdays Will Focus On Scripts (Different Genres Each Week)
•Industry Showcase – Final Class Is A Performance In Front Of Invited Industry Guests

All Prospective Students Must Complete Application & Send In A Self-Taped Audition To Meet Requirements To Join The Class.

Fully prepare a monologue or scene of 2-3 minutes in length. Material should be from film, television, or theatre. Submit a self-taped audition via email (YouTube, Vimeo, etc. URL is acceptable). Cell phone video is ok too.
