We’re currently casting for our next show, And All The Dead, Lie Down by Harrison David Rivers, directed by John Coppola, to be produced in our theatre space along Theatre Row in Hollywood starting the last weekend in April. The story is about a gay couple – one HIV- and the other HIV+. Submission instructions & breakdown are below.
Breakdowns have been posted on Actors Access and LA Casting (the links are embedded in the name of each role below). Please submit through either one those two systems (only one is necessary). If you cannot submit through one of these two systems, please email email@example.com.
REHEARSALS/SCHEDULE: Play will have six performances. Play performances will be Saturday nights at 8PM – only one performance per week. If show sells well, we might look to add in a few more performances during this time frame, but only based on actor availability. Rehearsals will be roughly 12 hours per week, during the week, starting Monday, March 16th and continuing until opening. Rehearsals will run for 3 hours each of these days, within these given time frames (it is imperative for any actor submitting for a role to be available for a 3 hour span during these times):
- Mondays, between 1PM-7PM
- Wednesdays, between 1PM-7PM
- Thursdays, between 1PM-10PM
- Fridays, between 1PM-7PM
Additional rehearsals might be scheduled as needed on Friday evenings, Saturdays, or Sundays.

[ALVIN] Male. 30’s-Mid-40’s. African American, Caucasian, or Latino. Gay man in a committed, long-term relationship with Foss; he is HIV-. A playwright. Cerebral. From a wealthy family – grew up with privilege. Experiencing block – both in writing and in his relationship. They’re trying to figure out how to make it work. There is nudity.
[FOSS] Male. 20’s-30’s. African American or Latino. Gay man in a committed, long-term relationship with Alvin; he is HIV+. A teacher. Playful, fun – a counter to Alvin’s sometimes stuffed shirt. Raised more blue collar and poor – wrong side of the tracks. Close to his brother – who he bails out financially. There is nudity. ALREADY CAST – KILA PACKETT
